Michael E. Witting, 87, of Lansing, IL passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015. He is survived by his children, Linda (Joe) Beezhold, Martha Moss, Michael (Janet) Witting, Roy (Diane) Witting, Doug (Mary) Witting and Thomas (Erika Banick) Witting; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion in 1990. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 10:00 am from the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery, Dolton, IL. Michael was a member of Carpenter’s Local 141 and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
