Michael Hrindak

Michael Hrindak, 88, of Dyer In. passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Sue; four daughters, Laura Hrindak, Patti (Stan) Panfil, Catherine Hrindak, and Peggy Hrindak (Michael Janousek); stepson, Robert Davis and step-daughter, Bonnie Campaniello; brother-in-law Steve Beville of Breinigsville, PA; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Laura, brother John and sisters Margaret and Rosemary.Mike retired from NCR with 41 years of service. He proudly served in the Army Air Force in WWII, stationed in North Africa, Italy and England. He was a man with many interests. He was a long-time ham radio operator and a licensed pilot.Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN and on Tuesday from 9:00-10:00 am at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:00am, at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr., Dyer, IN with Rev. Charles Niblick officiating. Interment will be private at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Are in Mike's memory would be appreciated.
