Michael John Cislo, 46 of Lansing, IL unexpectedly passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.
Beloved son of Richard and the late, Elaine Cislo; adored grandson of the late, Ann Cislo; loving
brother to Lisa (Edward) Cherbak and Julie Cislo Sykes; devoted uncle to Scott (Marissa) Edburg,
Amber Edburg and Zachary (Rinnah) Sykes; caring great uncle to John Owen and Charles Edburg; fond nephew of Robert Cislo and Arlene Matela; and wonderful cousin to Jennifer (Tom) Adams and Melanie (Michael) Berwanger. Michael was a true friend to many and will be greatly missed by all.
Michael received his degree in computer science and had a real passion for building and working
on computers. He was always helping family and friends by fixing and/or upgrading their
computers. They all knew they could count on him to fix whatever “bugs” their computers had and
have them running like brand new!
In his spare time Michael loved playing video games, watching WWE/AEW/ECW wrestling and
horror movies and listening to metal music. A couple of his favorite bands were Whitesnake and
Jefferson Airplane/Starship. He also liked attending concerts at Fox Pointe in Lansing and hanging
out with his friends. His favorite football team was the Raiders and he was a fan of the Chicago
White Sox. He loved playing fantasy football and giving you player’s stats. Michael was also
known for his witty sense of humor and sarcasm. From a young age he loved Scooby-Doo, Donald
Duck and building Legos. One of his favorite past times was building Legos and watching Scooby-
Doo and wrestling with his nephews, Scott & Zack. He also loved making late night trips to Taco
Bell with his niece, Amber. He was such a wonderful, fun loving uncle to them.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 8, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eulogy at 5:00

And you giving me crap about not knowing the Raider's player stats, how you would roll your eyes at me when I would say I don't know what you're talking about, I just watch the games. Then you would say you're not a real Raiders fan and laugh. I have many fond memories of you when you were little and also as an adult, what a wonderful uncle you were to Scott & Amber. Michael we've been friends since I was 12 or 13 and over the years we kept in touch, it didn't matter if we didn't talk for weeks, we always picked up where we left off. Always there for eachother. Fully accepting eachother as we were, no judgment ever! You were like a bratty brother who loved to be a jokester and respond with your silly and sometimes sarcastic comments. But you were also the most kindest, loving, well mannered person who showed so much compassion and love. Priding yourself on how your parents raised you to be. You were the Best at Friendship! I was the advice giver and the person who you'd come to when you needed a pep talk. I Love you Mike! You were one of my best friends. Your bright light on this earth has dimmed, but your light is now in a place where there is an abundance of Love, Peace and happiness. You are in good hands with your Gram, Mom and my sister Diana.
