Morgann E. Castaneda, 20, Of Lansing, IL passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. She is survived by her father, Michael (Cynthia) Castaneda of Lansing, IL; mother, Noel (fiancé Bryan Rodda) Castaneda of Lansing, IL; brother, Cory; grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Skold; Preceded in death by her grandfather, Guadalupe Castaneda and grandmother in June of 2012. Morgann was a graduate of Thornton Fractional South and was currently employed as a waitress. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Rd. Lansing, IL. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 3:00-8:00 PM and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. Please omit flowers.

Yes, I dad do something fun. I went swminmig at Wet n'Wild water park and talked to you while I was on the way with a bunch of kids in the back of the pickup with Abby, who went with me too. I did a pretty good job with the backstroke. I think the kids are about to beat me at swminmig, so I hope I can hold up a little longer. I remember I didn't do such a good job when Darla was at Ft. Coob Lake, but an old indian helped us out, and I gave hime all the watermelons I had. I'm still growing tomatoes, green beans, squash and cucumbers. I hope I don't have to reward anybody with melones (cantaloupes) or sandias (watermelons), because they don't grow too good in El Paso, although I trying my luck again at pumpkins. Anyway, thanks for the memories, son, but remember; mine's the 10th,and your's is the (seven)teenth. Love always, Dad.
