Myrtle Balsley, 96 of Hammond, IN passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013. She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Pam) Balsley, Marvin(Dixie) Balsley and Warren Balsley; grandchildren, Kevin (Lori) Balsley, Keith (Andrea) Balsley, Kim (Todd) Trepton, Brent Balsley, Scott Balsley, Amy (Marcus Mitchell) Balsley, Heidi (Nathan Saltus) Balsley and Molly (Jason) Workman; great grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsey, Rebekah, Kyle, Mason, Hannah, Gracie, Olivia, Braden and Jamie; she was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Paul Ritter and her husband, Henry. Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Myrtle lived a good Christian life and was a student of the Bible. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Hammond. She was the head of Edison Worldwide Tours and was an avid traveler, who traveled the world and visited many places.
