Nancy H. Urbanski (nee Galambos) 86 of Schererville, IN formerly of Munster, IN. passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie (late Ted) Owles; sons, Steven (Julie), Matthew (Elizabeth) and David Urbanski; grandchildren, Lily, Andrew, Austin (Riley), Nathan, Madeline, Olivia (Bret), and Camille; great grandchildren, Grayson and Emilia; brother, John (LaVerne) Galambos; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Dr. Walter Urbanski; parents, John and Helen Galambos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:30 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church.

Nancy was a graduate of East Chicago Washington Class of 1958. A longtime member of St. Thomas More Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in her memory would be appreciated. https://www.hospicecalumet.org/donate
