Nancy Lee Bowman Spurlock, 62, of Cedar Lake, IN and Stuart, FL, died March 28, 2012 at Martin Hospital South. She was born in Hammond, IN and had been a winter resident of Stuart for the past 7 years. She was the owner and operator of several businesses, including but not limited to the following: Dairy Queen, Kennan Liquors, Just Cigarettes and Smoke Shops, all in Indiana. She was a member of the Lady Shriner’s in Lake County, IN.She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Spurlock of Cedar Lake, IN and Stuart, FL; daughter, Christina Storm of Dyer, IN; Sons, Jerry Popplewell and Matthew Lee Popplewell both of Crown Point, IN; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Mezzacapo and Christopher Storm; mother, Doris Adams of Schererville, IN; sisters, Debbie Jurgenson of Stuart, FL and Pamela Deutscher of Munster, IN; brothers, John “Bill” Adams of Cedar Lake, IN, Robert Adams of Dyer, IN and Christopher Adams of Highland, IN.
