Natalia Lara Villarruel, 92, of Crown Point, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was a loving mother to Luis (Catalina) Villarruel, Mayola Villarruel, Lila (Anthony) McCabe, Eugenia (Vincent) Mirkov and Rigoberto Villarruel; cherished grandmother of Nicolas (Julie) Villarruel, Tomas Villarruel, Christian Villarruel, Matthew (Dorita) McCabe, Jeffrey (Betsy) McCabe, Ryan (Rachel) McCabe, Kaitlyn McCabe, Courtney (Cameron Wietbrock) Mirkov, Cynthia Mirkov and Lauren Mirkov; proud great grandmother of Kylie McCabe, Regan McCabe, Jackson McCabe, Charlotte McCabe, Caedence McCabe, Beckett McCabe, Antonio Gerena, Rose Gerena, Isabella Gerena and Gabriel Villarruel; devoted brother, Juventino (Eloisa) Lara;numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Crescencio Lara and Guadalupe Lara (nee Ruiz); beloved husband, Arturo Villarruel; grandson, Seth Nathan Villarruel; siblings, Trinidad Lara, Nazaria Lara and Jeronimo Lara. Visitation will be on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017, with prayers at 9:45 am at the funeral home with a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Natalia was a devout Christian, who taught her children to love the Lord. She had a generous spirit, who loved to garden, she was a great seamstress and enjoyed doing laundry.
