Nellie F. Jarzombek, age 90 of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Richard Jarzombek; children, Stephen (Lisa K.) Jarzombek, David (Lisa J.) Jarzombek and Susan (Doug) Seuring; grandchildren, Timothy, Katherine, Noah, Benjamin, Jacob, Candace, Aaron and Grace; sister-in-law, Pat Wojciechowski; and many nieces and nephews. Nell was preceded in death by her son, Robert Jarzombek.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Michael Yadron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass.

Nell was a member of St. Thomas More parish and a dedicated volunteer at Community Hospital for over 30 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Community Foundation of NW Indiana would be greatly appreciated.

Dave , Our sincerest condolences for your loss.

Susan, Steve, and Dave - I was so sorry to hear about your parents. They were such a large part of my childhood and still come to mind often. Your mom somehow had "leftovers" to bring over to us frequently, which in hindsight were likely not leftovers but planned on her part. Who has an entire tray of stuffed cabbage or a large container of beet soup leftover!? They really were remarkable as individuals and as a couple. Sometimes when I see a magic (coin) trick or while playing scrabble, think of your dad and his remarkable intelligence and wit. Or when I see a pretty bird, petunias, or have chicken and dumplings, I think of your mom. They were so kind to my mom and our family in general in ways that I only realized once I became an adult. I will always have a special place in my heart for them.

March 5, 2021. Mom, I've been missing you, but I know that you're in heaven and free of all illness. Now Dad has joined you. May you both rest in peace ❤

Nell was a member of our lunch group. We started out folding the newsletter for the high school. We met once a month for several years. After our children graduated, we continued to meet once a month at a restaurant. We all became really good friends. So sorry to hear of her passing.

Our deepest sympathy to David and Lisa and all of the Jarzombek family. May you all find comfort and peace knowing your mother had a wonderful life. God Bless all of you during this difficult period. Love to you.
