Nick D. Mazzocco, 90, of Lansing, IL. passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary (nee Pepera); son: Frank (Deborah) Mazzocco; grandchildren: Tony, Nicole, Nick (Bridget) and Anne; great grandchildren: Angelina, Landon and Alexis; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his first wife: Mary (nee Eatto) and daughter: Gail Penn. Visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Saturday at 8:15 AM at the funeral home with a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church; Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Nick was a member of St. Ann Church and an Honorary member of the Lansing Knights of Columbus. He retired from Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. Nick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Nick” to many.
