Nina Elaine Hoelzeman, 56, of Lansing, IL passed away at home from kidney cancer on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She had the love and support of her parents, James and Patsy (Crook) Hoelzeman, her brother, Jim Hoelzeman and his wife Nancy (Green) and her nephew Jason Hoelzeman and his wife Cathy (Piorkowski) and their children, Maynard and Ozzie. She is also survived by her brother, Mike and his wife, Phyllis (Johnson) and nephew, Erik and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Nina Hoelzeman of Morrilton, AR; Hume and Nellie Crook of Hammond, IN and an infant nephew, Peter Hoelzeman. Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN (next to Fitness Point) A Memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation from 6:00-7:00 PM. A private burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Morrilton, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Humane Society of the Calumet Area, 421 45th Ave. Munster, IN 46321, would be appreciated.
