Upon retirement from the Lynn School Dept. in 1995, Nora moved from Salem with Richard to Schererville to be with the grandchildren who were their pride and joy.
A person of deep faith, Nora became as involved at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Merrillville, as she had been in her previous parishes in Lynn and Salem. Until this year, she was a member of the choir at Our Lady of Consolation and attended Mass daily, often with dear friends Lorraine Geberin, Jean Collier, and Barbara Ronciak. Nora also became active with Lake County Right to Life after moving to Indiana. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.
Nora was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Those who had the good fortune to know her will forever miss her abundant thoughtfulness, kindness, and charity.
