Norma Marie Reynolds Owens, 93, of Schererville, IN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24 at home from a short illiness with her children by her side. She was born at home in Hamletsburg, Illinois on April 4, 1930 to her parents of Alex E. and Alice Nelson Reynolds. United in Marriage to Raymond Wayne Owens on December 22, 1949.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Alex E. and Alice Nelson Reynolds, nine siblings, son-in-law Thomas A. Witham and loving husband Raymond Wayne Owens. Norma is survived by her children, Nancy M. Witham and Pastor Terry W. Owens; Granddaughter, Deborah (Mike) Biron of Batavia, Oh; Great Grandchildren, Abigail (Doug) Young of Cincinnati, Oh, Dexter Lambert of Cincinnati, Oh; great great grandchildren, Emma Young and Maverick Young of Cincinnati, Oh; and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was a life time member of the Eastern Star # 508 in Brookport, IL. She was a retired bookkeeper for Jacobsens Office Supplies; Sax, Shoes and Boutique; Family Christian Center, and Hammond Christian Academy.

Norma loved her family, cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, and spending time in Florida.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Family Christian Center 340 45^th Street in Munster, IN from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will start at 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place immediately after services at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN.
