Norman B. Golem, 75, of Munster, Indiana, formerly of Calumet City, Illinois, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Suzanne M. Golem, his four daughters: Cheryl L. (Robert) Schultz of Schaumburg, IL, Cynthia S. (Robert Rita) Stockle of Blue Island, IL, Deborah L. (Glenn) Peisker of Highland, IN and Laura A. (Gregory) Beach of Valparaiso, IN, six grandchildren: Sarah L. (Brian) Kuhn, Cody Peisker, Shane Peisker, Brendan Schultz, Madeleine Schultz, Isabella Beach, and one great grandchild: Baby Kuhn, expected soon. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Thursday at 9:45 AM at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church. Interment will be private. Norman proudly served with the U.S. Navy and retired from Lucent Technologies.
