Ofelia A. Caballero, age 91 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Ofelia A. Caballero, age 91 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She is survived by her children, Caroline, Gilda, Michael (and Liz), John, Graciela (and John) and Emily; grandchildren, Andrea, Michael, Alina, Adriana, Danielle, Joseph, Alexandria Ofelia, Graciela and Erika; great grandchildren, Angelina, Ariana, Ariel, Isabella, Alana, Layla, Noel, and Catalina aka “Valentina”; and great great grandchildren, Angel, Nolan and Calvin. Ofelia was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Juana; and her husband, Jacinto.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Knock Catholic Church 501 163rd St. Calumet City, IL with a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Francisco Luna. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery Glenwood, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday, at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Ofelia took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
