Orin Kenneth Noth, Jr., 76, of Schererville, IN passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 1, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janet (nee Lanman); children, Sean (Martha) Noth, Kerry (Leslie) Noth, Tiffany Noth, Ryan (Kristina) Noth and Scott Noth; granddaughter, Sidney Noth; brother, William Noth; sister, Suzanne (Paul) Rapp; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orin and Carma Noth; brother, John Noth.A private funeral service took place on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Interment was at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Dr. Avis Clendenen officiated.Ken was born in Oak Park, IL and attended Oak Park/River Forest High School. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. The greatest joys in his life were his wife and children. He was an avid reader, a great storyteller and loved spending time at his family’s summer home in Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area or the American Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
