Patricia A. Manchak (nee Hojnacki), 87, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband Deacon Joseph Manchak, with whom she shared 66 beautiful years of marriage; children, Joseph (Janet) Manchak, Jeffrey (Lori) Manchak, Patti Jo (Steven) Battaglia; grandchildren, Natalie (Stacey) Howell, Andrea (Bradley) Moran; great grandchildren, Sophie and Zachary Howell; brother, Richard (late Cheryl) Honack; and beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. Patricia was born and raised in the Harbor section of East Chicago. She proudly attended St. John Cantius grade school and Bishop Noll High School class of 1957. In 1959, Patricia married her high school sweetheart, Joseph, and together, they shared their love and cherished 66 years of marriage while raising three beautiful children. Her faith and family were always her main focus. She enjoyed taking her children to various sporting events and activities and never missed a game or band concert. She was quick to give a nose wrinkle when your opinion differed from the opinion you were supposed to have. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, rooting proudly for her “cardiac” Bears, putting together countless jigsaw puzzles, tending to her flowers and loved an occasional trip and wager at the horse track.
Funeral Services will be private.
Her love for her family will forever remain and will live forever in our hearts
