Patricia Bailey, 83, of Valparaiso, IN passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. She is survived by her sons, Shawn Bailey, Kim (late Kelly) Bailey, Noel (Robin) Bailey, Jaime Bailey and Bruce (Pamela) Bailey; daughters, Dawn (Andrew) Gatewood, Maureen (Kenneth) Decrescenzo and Gabrielle Hannon; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Charles (Vera) Drust, Ernest (Alta) Drust and Norbert (Donna) Drust. She was preceded in death by her husband, David “Bruce” Bailey; great granddaughter, Arriana; brother, Raymond Drust and sister, Loretta Blue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Interment will be private. Pat was a Sunday School Teacher. She loved gardening, cats, reading books, late night walks and helping others. She would give away her last penny to whoever needed it. It would drive her husband crazy. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the VNA Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory would be appreciated.
