Patricia Day, 74, of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 6:39PM Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Baptist Health. Pat was a very active member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church; she helped with the funeral meals at church, worked raffles, garage sales and helped with the Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Day of Benton, KY; two sons, Jeffrey Day and wife Susan of Crown Point, IN and Kevin Day and wife Kimberly of Schererville, IN; daughter in law Tina Day of Crown Point, IN; six grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Carson, Hannah, Gabi, and Ella, one great grandchild, Aiden; one sister, Delores Gill of Highland, IN and three brothers, David Alonzo of California; Albert Alonzo and wife Barbara of Highland, IN and Raymond Alonzo and wife Linda of Kingman, IN. She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Day and two brothers, Thomas Alonzo and Phillip Alonzo. Her parents were Joseph Alonzo and Elsie Maggio Alonzo.Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Deacon Michael Halas.
