Patricia E. Swarthout, 88 of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Loving mother of Tom, Terry (Betty), Karen (Scott) Brum, Kevin and Lisa Swarthout; cherished grandmother of 8 and proud great grandmother of 2; preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Timothy; granddaughter, Erin Swarthout-Keith and sister, Mary Kennedy. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment will be at Mount Mercy Cemetery, Gary, IN. Pat was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church and retired from Sears.
