Patricia L. Weis, 78, of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Patricia L. Weis, 78, of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Bill) Mesa, Sharron (Ron) Catania and Susan (Michael) Barker; son, John (Shalagh) Weis; grandchildren, Lindsay Pelham, Claire Weis, Emily (Jorge) Avina, Christian Catania, Alex Weis, Gina Catania and Matthew Weis; great grandchildren, Abigail Avina, Lily Pelham and Leonardo Avina; sisters, Linda (Robert) Wojtanowski and Pam Davis; brothers-in-law, Robert (Janice) Weis and Dan (Starr) Weis; special friend, Russ Tomjanovich; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Weis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. James the Less Church, Highland, IN. Interment will be at St. Joseph-St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00-8:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 am at the church. Pat retired from Cresco Lines with over 20 years of service. She was a member of St. James the Less Church and the Golden Times. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area or the St. James the Less Food Pantry in her memory would be appreciated.
