Patricia Quinn O’Connell passed away November 27, 2012 in Naples, FL. She was born on Christmas Day, 1930. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Gerald; brother, James (Donna) Quinn; brother-in-law, John Kryda; nieces, Kathy Quinn (Darren Kahn), Mary Beth Kryda, Beth Ann (Arthur) Katz, Sharon Conces; nephews, Robert Conces, Mark (Liza) Conces and Kevin (Peggy) Quinn. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Earl Quinn; brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Quinn, sisters, Kathleen (Robert) Conces and Rosemary Kryda. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM from St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN. Patricia taught elementary education in Chicago. She was a 1948 graduated of Bishop Noll High School. She received a degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from Purdue University. Patricia was a past member of Woodmar Country Club, Briar Ridge Country Club and a current member of Bear’s Paw Country Club in Naples, FL. She was a former member of the board of directors of Bishop Noll Foundation. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bishop Noll Institute, in her memory would be appreciated.
