Paul W. Sanusky, age 55, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, November 3, 2016. A native and resident of Highland, IN, Paul was born on October 13, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Stephanie Sanusky. He is survived by his sister, Karen (Edward) Scott, of Franklin, TN; and two nephews, Ted Scott, of Knoxville, TN and Christopher Scott, of Dublin, OH. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 3025 Highway Ave. Highland, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Reverend Edward Moszur. Interment will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery Hammond, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and again at the church on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Prayer Service will be on Tuesday, at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Paul was graduate of Highland High School and Purdue University Northwest. He was a member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association, most recently working for Lansing Electric. Paul was a life-long member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He enjoyed communicating on his ham radio, fishing, gardening and spending time with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Paul’s name to Our Lady of Grace Church 3025 Highway Ave. Highland, IN 46322.

I am a neighbor of Paul's and live on the second block. Paul was a private person and we did not talk very much but when the top half of my tree came down during a storm, he was one of the first neighbors out there in the rain cutting up the tree so it could be hauled away. I will always remember that and thanked him profusely for his help. He was a good neighbor to have and I'm sorry I didn't know him better.
