Phillip M. Resler, 56, of Griffith, IN –devoted husband, father and friend to many, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Phillip Resler, Colleen (CJ) Nicholls, Michael Resler, Andrea Davoren ,Angela, James and Anna Steinhubel; grandchildren, Robert, Riley and Sean; father, Richard (Louise) Resler; brothers, Steven (Marci) Resler, Mark (Sherri) Resler, Jeffrey (Anna Maria) Resler, and Christopher Resler; sister, Susan (George) Livarchik; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores “Dee” Resler and brother, David Resler. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter & Paul Church, 5885 Harrison St. Merrillville, IN. Interment will be private. Phil was an active member of St. Peter & Paul Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
