Rae Jeanne Gozdecki

Rae Jeanne Gozdecki (nee Stubbs), 86, of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Beloved wife for 63 years of Edward; loving mother of Peggy (Rich) Kobe, Chris (Don) Ketchum and Patty (Mark) Smith; cherished grandmother of Eric (Allison) Kobe, Allison Kobe, Amy Ketchum and Donnie Ketchum; caring sister of John (Betty) Stubbs; fond brother-in-law, Charles Adamchik; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her sisters, Betty June Adamchik and Cathryn (Walter) Leyden. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 9:15 AM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, Highland, IN. with Msgr. Joseph Semancik officiating; Visitation will be Monday from2:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home. Rae Jeanne was a member of St James the Less Church and a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church. She was a retired Record Supervisor after 30 years of service at Purdue University Calumet Campus. Rae Jeanne enjoyed golfing, college sports, travel and knitting. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Share Foundation or St Jude Children Research Hospital in her memory would be appreciated.
