Randie L. Wilcoxon

Randie Wilcoxon, 75 of Schererville, IN formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, January, 14, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Christine (nee Estes); son, Greg of Lake Station, IN; 4 brothers, Bill (Lois) of Medaryville, IN, Jay (Susie) of Medaryville, IN, James (Nerida) of Savannah, GA and Jimmy (Debbie) of Leesburg, FL; sister-in-law, Peggy Cogdill of Douglasville, PA; brothers-in-law, Billy (Elaine) Estes, Charles Estes of Texas and James (Gail) Estes of Crown Point, IN; special aunt, Thelma Ward; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loss and Vira; stepfather, Joseph Sacerich. Randie served with the US Army, was employed for 43 years at LTV Steel. He was a member of the Immanuel Church of Christ in Highland, IN, Hoosier cruisers, Coachman 45 and other camping clubs. He loved watching old movies, camping, fishing, watching the birds, deer and other wild animals in his backyard. Randie enjoyed decorating the house and the yard for all the holidays. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 calumet Ave. Munster, IN with Pastor Billy Kilgore officiating. He will be cremated following the service. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00-1:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church in his memory would be appreciated.
