Rhonda Irene Rosinski, 68, of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. Born in Hammond, IN to Edwin and Barbara Rosinski. Rhonda grew up in Hammond and was educated at Gavit High School and Indiana State University. She was the Executive Director of the Munster Chamber of Commerce for many years. She achieved significant recognition for all she accomplished while in her seat, including her creation of the Blues, Jazz, and Arts Festival. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Amy Alison (Dylan) Jensen and Erin (Nicole) Baker, her granddaughter, Milena, her brother Robert (Nanci) Rosinski, her 2 sisters, Carole (Chuck) Pieper and Cathie (Mark) Bartusch, her goddaughter, Madeline, and her loving nephews, Derek, Ben, Brian, and Greg. Rhonda was a lover of life, full of kindness and grace, with a heart that was open to all who met her. Rhonda Rosinski will remain in our hearts forever as a beacon of light for so many. .

I met Rhonda when she was with the Munster Chamber of Commerce and I was Manager of the Bank Calumet Branch in Munster. She was always cheerful and welcoming to all she met, and she had a great laugh, I can still hear her. She increased the Chamber's visibility, brought attention to Munster businesses, and recognition to Munster with the Blues Fest, Business After Hours and other events she developed or enhanced. I was only able to visit with her a few times after she returned from Arizona, but she was still the same cheerful Rhonda. God Bless Her.

I was able to work with Rhonda at the Chamber when I first came to Munster. It was such a fun time. Meeting all the business owners during the Business after Hours events and all other events! She will be missed.

I just heard the sad news that Rhonda had passed away from a friend in NW Indiana. My parents and Rhonda’s parents were very close friends meeting at the Woodmar Reformed Church in Hammond that both our families attended regularly. When Rhonda and I were very young we spent a lot of time together as families. My heart goes out to Robert-Carole and Cathy at Rhonda’s passing. My brothers Tim-Denny and I send our deepest and sincere sympathy to you and your entire family.
