Richard C. Gorcowski, 82 of Lansing, IL passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores (nee D’Apice); son, David (Susan) Gorcowski; daughter Lauri Gorcowski; grandchildren, Nicole (Doug) Furlan, Amy and Nicholas Gorcowski; great granddaughter, Abigail Furlan; brother, Nicholas (Jean) Gorcowski; preceded in death by his son, Richard Gorcowski Jr. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Memorial service at 8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Richard served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Acme Steel and was a member of the Polish Democrat Club and St. Ann Church.
