Richard Kopij age 57 of Dyer passed away on Monday, December 12th, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Wardell-Kopij, devoted son, John, and sister Kris (Jim) Kazmierczak.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Myron and Dolores Kopij.
Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home located at 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private.
Richard was a recovering alcoholic, and was very proud that he was celebrating fifteen years of sobriety.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
