Richard M. Langer, 80 of Munster, IN passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025. He is survived by his four children: Julieann (Todd) Giba, Kristen (Tom) Pieters, Jennifer (Jason) Britt, and Joseph Langer; eight grandchildren: Kate and Thomas Pieters, Ryan and Samantha Giba, Lauren, Maxwell, and Devan Britt, and Quinn and Cora Langer; sister, Phyllis Langer, four brothers-in-law: Fred (late Ann) Majchrowicz, Tom (Greydeen) Majchrowicz, Dan (Sharon) Majchrowicz, and Joe (Carole) Majchrowicz; many nieces and nephews; Preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilou Langer; parents Frank and Mary (nee Kowalski) Langer; brother, Frank (Linda) Langer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 22, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. from the Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Cremation to follow. Visitation Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sandy, Larry, Steven and Brandon want to send our condolences for the loss of your father. We were next-door neighbors to Rich, Mary Lou and family. One of our favorite memories is when Rich would be outside cutting grass and as soon as Brandon at about four or five years old, heard Rich out there he would grab his bubble lawnmower and start mowing right behind Rich while he was cutting grass. Definitely sorry for your loss.
