Rita J. DeRolf, age 86 of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.  She is survived by her children, Mark (Stephanie) DeRolf, Pam (Jim) Thurston and Amy (Marc) Velasquez; and grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick, Ian, Nathan,  Nicholas and Natalie. Rita was preceded in death by her parents Theresa and James Leo Overack; and husband, Kenneth DeRolf.

Funeral Services will begin with prayers at 11:30 a.m. at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN on Saturday, July 19, 2025 followed by a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Michael Yadron at St. Thomas More Catholic Church Chapel 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL.  Visitation will be on Saturday, at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. prayers.

Rita was a 1956 graduate of Hammond Tech High School and a devoted parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was dedicated to her faith, family and friends.  Rita was Master Gardener and avid Cub’s fan.
