Robert “Bob” J. Gregor

Robert “Bob” J. Gregor, 76 of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy nee Szynalik; daughters, Madeleine (Dean) Moya and Laura (Jeff) Jackman; son, Brian Gregor; grandchildren, Natalie and Greg Moya, Jennifer (fiancé Tony Kowal), Eric and Alec Jackman, Joshua Gregor; brother, Dr. Thomas (Debbra) Gregor; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, George and Julia Gregor. Visitation will be on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN with a prayer service at 3:30 PM and Tuesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Fr. Michael Yadron officiating; Interment, Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Bob was a graduate of Lew Wallace High school Class of 1952, served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, worked for Western Southern Life Insurance Company for 21 years and retired from Amoco after 15 years; He was a member of St. Thomas More Church, BP Retirees Club, American Legion Allied Post 369 who will post colors at 4:00 PM on Monday and hold military honors on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the SHARE Foundation or the Knights of Columbus Msgr Weis Council in his memory would be appreciated.
