September 28, 1948 - March 15, 2024

Robert “Bobby” F. Alb, 75 of Hammond, Indiana passed away on March 15, 2024. He is survived by his wife Linda; son, Chris; stepdaughters, Melanie Lindner (Aaron) and Kellie Jones; siblings, Thomas (Cheryl) Alb, David (Linda) Alb and Florence Cohen; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Bob worked for the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and rock collecting. He was a hard worker and had a great sense of humor. Bob always had a joke or a funny story to tell. He will be missed and his funny stories and sayings will live on with those who knew him. A small memorial service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
