Robert Perry Hatfield, age 72, of Munster, IN, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Hatfield; daughter, Amy E. (Doug) Johnson of Valparaiso, IN; son, Eric (Kate) Hatfield of Beckley, WV; grandchildren, Annika, John and Nolan; sister, Dr. Susan (James) Koch; brother, Thomas (Sharon) Hatfield; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Robert Hatfield. Funeral services will be held at on Monday, February 29, 2016 DIRECTLY at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 8435 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Reverend Ted Mauch. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 2:00 pm. to 6:00 p.m., and again at the church, on Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Robert Perry retired from Inland Steel, after 35 years of service, and Indiana Harbor Coke. He enjoyed golfing, boating and truly loved watching his grandchildren excel in their sports.
