Robert “Bob” Simpson, 76, of Dyer, IN formerly of Chicago, IL passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Monica Simpson (nee Jordan); son, Michael (Laurie) Keller; daughters, Karen Stone and Mary Beth (Michael) Simpson-Zarb; special granddaughter, Hope Stone. Bob was a proud graduate of St. Rita High School in Chicago, IL and a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. He served with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a proud member of Teamster Local 705 for many years. Bob leaves behind many cherished friends and neighbors. Most of all, Bob will be remembered for his generosity, his kindness, his hearty laugh and his ability to always enjoy life. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm with a funeral service at 8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
