Roger Allen Slosser, 78, of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 52 years. Sandra; children, Dale Slosser, Debbie (Joe) Webber and William (Katrina) Slosser; grandchildren, Ryan (Kristin), Justin, Zachary, Emma, Anna, Kari Michniewicz, Cody Michniewicz, Miles Webber and Morgan; great grandchild, Persephone; mother-in-law, Agnes Reynolds; sister, Mary Cutter; nephew, Scott Cutter. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Roger was a State Farm Agent for 51 years. He was past president of Mended Hearts, Hammond Jaycees and Life Underwriters Organization. Past Board member of Munster Humane Society, Munster Little League and many other local organizations. He was involved with the YMCA Indian Guides and served for 8 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Roger loved every one of his many clients and was very much a family man. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Calumet Area for all their help. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area or Mended Hearts in his memory would be appreciated.
