Ron Caparros, 87, of Schererville, IN passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary; sister-in-law, Peggy (David) Barrows; niece, Maggie (Bryan) Stevenson; nephew, Mark Barrows; beloved dog, Popeye. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Caparros; parents, Jess and Nevelyn Caparros. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 3:00-6:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Ron was a graduate of Indiana University and served with the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Caparros Ford and REDI-WHEELS Inc. Ron was a member of the Chicago Yacht Club and Woodmar Country Club.
