Ronald Johnson, 78, of Sister Lakes, MI and Naples, FL passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Margaret ‚ÄúMaggie‚Äù Johnson (nee Thiese); son, Ron (Carol) Johnson; daughter, Deborah (Scott) Heim; daughter, Elizabeth (Matthew) Stephenson; son, John (Rhonda) Kinahan; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Stephanie, Alex, Lucas, Alexis, Allen, Ryan and Katelyn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 am (EST) at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 51841 Leach Road, Dowagiac, MI 49047. Interment will be private. Ron retired in 1992 after 35 years of service from AT&T. He loved living on Round Lake in the summers and wintering in Naples FL. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions to the Sacred Heart of Mary Church in his memory would be appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. For all of the years that we have been going to Kish's cottage for the "work weekend", I always looked forward to visiting, (inviting us into their house for cocktails), with Maggie and Ron on Saturday afternoon. Thoughts and prayers go out to Maggie and the rest of their family.

We loved Ron and all he did for his wife and all of our family. I remember his kindness and generosity to us and I am grateful that he was part of our family. Wish I could have seen him one more time to tell him this in person.
