Ronald Michael Muha, 69 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Sharen (nee Palmer); daughters, Danette (John) Slivka, Patricia (Mike) Summers, Marsha (Jerry) Bomba, Rhonda (Kevin) Fites and Tiffany (Dave) Hoskins; grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie) Summers, Brittany (Ricardo Moreno) Wiltgen, Kera Summers, Amanda Fites, Ashley Wiltgen, Paige Bomba, Jacob Bomba, McKenzi Fites and Logan Hoskins; great grandchildren, Kirstin and Talen Summers, Aiden and Landen Moreno, Kadence and Jayse Wiltgen; sister, Marsha (Gilbert) Pahl; sister-in-law, Ruthann Goodman; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean (nee Krucina) Muha, in-laws, Frank and Elise Lemino, brother-in-law, Walter Goodman. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Ron graduated from Hammond Tech in 1962 and married Sharen that same year and they just celebrated their benevolent 51st anniversary on February 10th. He was a retired union sheet metal worker of Local 303 (now 20) for over 50 years. His life enjoyments were spending time with his family, fishing, boating, but most of all camping. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Dear Sharen,My deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. Ronnie suffered so many years and as his RA became worse I know how badly your burden and your cross to bare became harder and harder. His pain has now been lifted by the hand of our Precious Lord as he can forever rest in peace. Your days and nights may now seem empty but they are "Thank yous" from Ronnie for all you did to comfort him, assist him and be at his side when he felt so useless to all of you, his family. If you must take some of those nights to cry for the lonliness you feel, the missing him then do so but not many for Ronnie chose when and through the tears wants to see smiles knowing and "feeling strongly" that he is FREE, FREE of SO MUCH pain and only GOD was the granter and Ronnie said "NOW PLEASE, I AM READY TO BE YOUR SERVANT."
