Ronald W. Prugh, 77 of Schererville, IN passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the William J. Riley Hospice Residence, Munster, IN. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Niksch) Prugh; son, Brian Prugh of Hammond, IN; stepson, Glenn (Victoria) Vrab of Dyer, IN; brother-in-law, Jerry Wagenblast of Valparaiso, IN; niece, nephews and cousins; preceded in death by his parents, Frank E. and Dorothy (Rodda) Prugh; sister, Sharon K. Wagenblast in 2011 and his first wife, Carolyn Prugh. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church. Funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave. Munster, IN. Dr. Eric Stumpf officiating; Interment will be at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Ron retired from Nipsco after 39 years of service. He enjoyed dart ball, bowling, and volunteered at South Suburban Hospital. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area or St. Paul Lutheran Church, in his memory would be appreciated.
