I am so sorry that I didn't know about Rose passing. She was one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew. We worked together at GR and when I became single with two kids, she started including me in her family get togethers. Such a big heart. I am sure she will be missed by her loved ones.

I'm sorry, but I only today ( January 31st) got the information about Aunt Rose's passing, otherwise I certainly would have been there with the rest of the family.

To Rose’s family, please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I did not know Rose personally, but only through the words of love and appreciation expressed by her daughter, my friend Barbara. When she spoke of her mother through the years, you could both hear and feel the love she had for Rose. In the last few years, Barbara would sometimes share with Rose some of the stories and essays I have written. I’m told that she got enjoyment from them, and looked forward for more. I am happy that I contributed to a small bit of happiness to her, in that way.
