To the Cappello Family, My sincere condolences to you. I was taughtby Rose and John at SFDS in the late 60's early 70's. Mrs. Cappello was a great teacher and she would be proud that to this day I can speak pretty good Spanish. I will keep your family and both John and Rose in my prayers. They made a difference in a lot of young peoples lives.

I had Mrs.Cappello for Spanish 40 yrs ago @ SFDS. She was a fantastic teacher & person @ that time. Sounds like she continued that way throughout her life. My sympathies to her family. Her husband was one of my favorite people @ SFDS. May they rest in peace.

Dearest Cappello's---I loved your dear mother so much and felt like Rosie was a second mother to me for all these years. Her kindness and compassion will always be remembered and cherished and I am sad that she has passed so young. Her zest for life was so wonderful to be around and I always loved her laugh. I send you my deepest sympathy and love...Joanna
