Rosemary Schneck Beach, 95, Prosper, TX (formerly Munster, IN), passed away on April 21, 2024, of natural causes.
Rosemary was born on January 3, 1929, to Christine Kedar Schneck and Philip Schneck in East Chicago, IN. Rosemary graduated from Hammond High School and went on to study at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. After college, Rosemary worked at Leo Burnett, a global advertising agency in Chicago.
In 1950, Rosemary met Kelley Richard Beach. They were introduced by Rosemary’s beloved uncle, Thomas Kedar, and were married for over 53 years. Rosemary and Kelley had three children: Kim Beach Belz, Ann Beach McAloon and Kelley Thomas Beach.
Rosemary and Kelley lived in Munster, IN during their later years and enjoyed traveling as well as golf and their friendships at Woodmar and Briar Ridge Country Clubs. After Kelley’s death in 2004, Rosemary lived in Briar Ridge and Hartsfield Village until she moved to Prosper, TX last year to be with family.
Rosemary was a student of current events. Television news was a constant in her life. Her children and grandchildren, even as adults, could be admonished if they weren’t aware of an important news development in a timely manner.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Kelley, mother, Christine, and father, Philip.
Rosemary is survived by Kim Beach Belz (Carl), Ann Beach McAloon (Patrick), Kelley Thomas Beach (Patricia), grandchildren: Matthew David McBride (Kathryn), Christopher Kelley Beach (Kyle), Cassidy Christina McAloon and Lauren Rae Beach as well as great-grandchildren, Samantha Ana Magtilda McBride, Madelyn Rosemary McBride and Jackson Joseph Beach. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN 46321 at 11:00 am. The burial is immediately following at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St., Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Ignatius College Prep, Chicago, IL or Hospice of the Calumet Area, Munster, IN.
