Ruth L. Culp, 81, of Hessville, passed away on Friday April 10, 2009. She is survived by her husband Richard; sons: Dick (Patrice) and Tom Culp; sister: Marjorie Mikula; brothers in law: Fred (Sharon) and Curt Schultz; grandchildren: Brianna, Lauren, Kevin, Torrie, Jonathan, Holly, Brent; great grandson: Adam; preceded in death by her parents: Jon and Victoria Mikula and granddaughter: Jillian. Ruthie was a 50 years parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena. She retired from the Bell Telephone Companies. Catholic faith, love and generosity, and quiet tolorence were her ways in life. In keeping with Ruthie’s request, there will be no visitation. Private funeral Mass with cremation to follow. Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area – William J. Riley Memorial Residence, 511 Otis Bowen Dr. Munster, IN, 46321. The family wishes to express their appreciation to all those involved in Ruthie’s care at Community Hospital and the W.J. Riley Residence.
