Sandra “Sandy” T. Williams, age 66 of Cedar Lake, IN formerly of Dyer, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She is survived by her sons, Dan (Allison) Williams, Jr. and Joey Williams; grandchildren, Tayler, Troy, Piper, Zoie and Darrell; parents, Gerald and Mariam Pignatiello; sisters, Debbie Pignatiello and Bonnie Lear; and brother, Scott Pignatiello. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Dan G. Williams, Sr.; and her son, Jimmy Williams.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday, at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. service.

Sandy was avid seamstress and loved to sew. She loved her German Shepherd Charger, as any dog Mom would. Sandy was a doting and loving Grandma to her grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally. She will be dearly missed.

Sandy was a wonderful person and I was so happy that we were friends going all the way back to high school at Thornridge. I will miss her, we always had kept in touch even after I moved to South Carolina. In fact she was the first person to check on me when Helene hit. We shared photos and stories about our two rescue pups. She loved her sweet Charger very much and he was her loyal boy. My thoughts are with Dan and Joey. Godspeed Sandy

I will miss my big sister very much. My heart is breaking for her boys,Joey and Danny, and their families. Sandy, Big Dan, Jimmy, and my Daryl are all together now. No pain, no illness, just peace.
