Shirley J. Porto, 88 of Highland, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010. Beloved mother of Joseph A.(Carol A.) Porto Jr.; loving grandmother of Shirley (Steve) Bunn, Michael (Maria) Pagan, Brian Yarka and Christopher Porto; cherished great grandmother of Bo, Michael, Krystal, Malissa, Melanie, Amanda and Matthew; great great grandmother of Ada; fond sister of Joan (Irwin) Joss; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Porto and daughter, Ruth Ann Johns. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 3:00-6:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a Memorial service at 6:30 PM.
