Shirley M. Forsythe

July 24, 1928 - March 24, 2014

Shirley Forsythe, 85 of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. She is survived by her sons, Kyle (Suzanne Oesterreich) Miller and Scott (Jill) Miller; grandchildren, Aidan, Bret and Reid; sisters, Elaine (late Eugene) Ooms, Sandra (late James) Wilson, Judith (Dennis) McFadden and Linda (Joe) Bullero; brothers, Alvin and Wayne (Rosella) Schmitt; numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Miller and Harry Forsythe. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 Am at the First United Methodist Church, 352 South Main St. Crown Point, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

To Shirley's family , I am sorry for your loss. I knew Shirley from working with her at Handy Andy hardware store. I enjoyed working with her. She was a sweet and pleasant person. She will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I became acquainted with her as a (now retired) dental hygienist at Dr. Chas. Puntillo's dental practice in Highland, IN. She always brightened up when she came in and we had pleasant visits. God be with her. Jackie Wonso
