Teresa Arroyo, 94, of Calumet City, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. She is survived by her children: Pascual (Elvira) Herrera, Otilia (late Jose) Cortez, Beatriz (Carlos) Villaseñor, Audelia Herrera, Javier Herrera, Marina Herrera, Rosa (Javier) Garcia, Maria G. (Carlos) Capetillo, Margarita (Sergio) Arreola and Gustavo Herrera; 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Teresa is preceded in death by her husband Crisanto Herrera, sisters: Angelita and Eraclia Arroyo and brother Alberto Arroyo.
Teresa was a very spiritual, loving, and courageous woman. She dedicated her life to her family and was a great role model to them. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Visitation for Teresa will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 3-8 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN. Funeral Services will begin Friday, August 16, 2019 at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Ave, Calumet City, IL. Entombment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, 801 Michigan City Rd. Calumet City, IL 60409
