Terri O’Brien, 60, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joseph; daughters, Christie (Steve) and Kelley (Jeff); sons, Joe (Amber) and Patrick (Katelyn); granddaughters, Izzie and Lorelei; sisters, Pat (Jim) Landowski and Susie (Chuck) Schotten; brother, Dan (Stephanie) Flynn; stepmother, Theresa Flynn; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Catherine Flynn.Terri was a loving wife, mother and Nanee. Her life’s work was raising four children successfully which included many jobs like chef, chauffeur, seamstress and best friend. And more recently, became a regular host for her precious granddaughters which kept her on her toes. Although not technically savvy, she learned to use Face Time to stay in touch with everyone. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Thursday from 10:00-10:30 am at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 5, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Ronald McDonald’s House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (rmhccni.org) would be appreciated.
