Thomas E. Skarbek, 58 of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Skarbek; brother, John (Nikki) Skarbek; sisters, Nancy Wood and Sharon (Jamie) Peters; several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 AM with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Please omit flowers. Contributions to the family would be appreciated.

Alyssa sweetie I am so sorry, I know this doesnt make sense especially when u had done such a good thing and gave him a home..but remember he will never forget that, that u were such a wonderful child and took care of him when he needed someone and at such a young age...Alyssa u r such a wonderful person and u have done so well for someone who has had alot of trials in her life, but im thinking u got that from dad who had issues and kept on trying to do better and be there for u the best he could....remember I am always here for u and so proud of the adult u have become....:)
